Ynys yr Wyn, Isle of Anglesey

Porth yr Ogof

Uploader's Comments

A small bay on the west side of Cemaes Bay. The most curious item here is an old concrete slipway just in front of the tiny island of Ynys yr Wyn, the reason for its existence was discovered after referral to old 6" maps. Another curious thing is that the 'ogof' [cave] is on the landward side of the island, where one would expect the sea to have the least power.
