Situated on the A637 Huddersfield Road, this TE would appear to date from the GPO era, when it was, and still is, a common sight in rural areas for a telephone box to be located adjacent to it. The TE has a BT warning notice fixed on it whilst a yellow grit salt bin is to the left of the photo. A small red postbox on a black post behind the stone wall adds to the attractiveness of this scene. The KX100 telephone box takes e-mail, text and phone messages, whilst the former BT Peter Pan logo can be seen on its front. This TE has a numbering range (01924) 830xxx, the (01924) referring to the Wakefield group of TEs, and its postcode is WF4 4JY.
