Golden Grove was a country park with a network of managed footpaths, a cafe and parking. Unfortunately it was closed to save money a number of years ago and many areas now look quite run down. A number of public footpaths cross through the park and dog walkers still use the area - though the main park area with its footpaths is now also closed off.
