This is the third day since the salmon season opened here on the River Spey. Catches have been very poor with only one fresh caught salmon recorded so far. The picture gives a false impression of today's weather condition. The wind is howling, it's bitterly cold and there are intermittent snow flurries. Still, there's always a chance of a fish.
