The Endrick Viaduct

Uploader's Comments

There was originally a viaduct (1872) here, which was built of stone (it had replaced an earlier wooden structure). It led the Forth and Clyde Junction Railway Line over the Endrick Water. The viaduct's stone piers now support water pipes, and a cycle route and footpath; this is best seen in a view from the ground: [[100054]]. See [[2888316]] for a view in the opposite direction.
