'Castle' 4-6-0 pounding up through Lawrence Hill with a Paignton - Cardiff holiday express

Uploader's Comments

The 12.10 Dated Summer Saturday express from Paignton has about four miles, mostly at 1-in-75, to mount out from Temple Meads to Filton Junction (and I got a good tape-recording), with ex-GW Collett 4-6-0 No. 5050 'Earl of St Germans' (built 5/36 as 'Devizes Castle', was named in 8/37 and withdrawn in 8/63).
