These buildings are situated on the side of a road called "The Field", obliquely opposite The Michael (Steiner-Waldorf) School. Most of the building was a former Ambulance Station, premises that are now used by Derbyshire County Council, whereas the building with the green door, built in 1897 as "Shipley Parish Room" is used for community group activities.
