The Michael House Steiner-Waldof School, Heanor is in a hamlet, off of "The Field", a road that branches off the Heanor-Ilkeston Road (the A6007). It "aims to provide an unhurried and creative learning environment for young children up to GCSE level" and is founded on Rudolf Steiner's emphasis on the development of the whole child, i.e. their intellectual, physical, emotional, spiritual and moral development.
