A 'traditional china and glass retailer' on Russell Street. Shortly before this photo was taken the owners announced that the shop was to close after more than a century trading from the same premises in Halifax town centre. Changing tastes and competition were probably to blame for a drop off in business - perhaps there is less call for selling expensive dust magnets than there used to be.
