Bokerley Down, Dorset

Sighting WNW along Bokerley Dyke, from Martin Down National Nature Reserve

Uploader's Comments

There are a number of ancient linear earthworks in this area (where Dorset abuts Hampshire and Wiltshire) - Bokerley Dyke being the most easily traced on the ground. The view here is roughly WNW along the somewhat unsteady line of the dyke, which marks the boundary not only between Martin Down NNR and farmland to the south-west - the NNR is in Hampshire, the farmland in Dorset.
