Silverband Shop

Uploader's Comments

No groceries on sale here! The word shop as used in this case refers to a mine lodging shop where, in remote areas, miners (for lead in this case),would lodge through the working week. There were many such 'shops' in the north Pennines and many have become ruinous; this one however is in good condition and now serves as a shooting hut.
