Although surrounded by suburbia with Petts Wood to the south, and Chislehurst to the north and west, the National Trust owned Hawkwood Estate is like real countryside, with hedges, streams and woods. This view towards the western edge shows the path which ascends from the Kyd Brook alongside Pond Wood.
