Although surrounded by suburbia with Petts Wood to the south, and Chislehurst to the north and west, the National Trust owned Hawkwood Estate is like real countryside, with hedges, streams and woods. This view, from a path towards the western edge, shows three fine cattle in a field alongside Pond Wood. The houses behind are in Norlands Crescent.
