The platform edge of Withcall station still remains though the part nearest the camera has been rebuilt to cater for traffic using the former trackbed as a road. The station consisted of a single platform with a shelter and signalbox. There was one siding. I can't imagine that, except at harvest, traffic was ever very heavy. Perhaps the station's greatest claim to fame is that for three weeks of each year large quantities of white violets were sent from here to the London flower markets.
