View westward, towards Kirkham and Blackpool/Fleetwood; ex-Preston & Wyre Joint line. This is the 10.20 Fleetwood to Manchester express, with Hughes/Fowler 5P4F 2-6-0 No. 42844; the other train is somewhat behind. See also [[2161678]] etc.
