Wetherlocks Grove, Gloucestershire

Winter wheat on the old railway

Uploader's Comments

Taken from the three arched bridge which once crossed the Gloucester - Ledbury railway here. The bridge still exists, albeit with one brick parapet missing and the arches buried under cutting infill. The line closed to passengers in July 1959 (and closed completely between Dymock and Ledbury); the southern section remained open for freight traffic until 1964. This view is along the line towards Gloucester.
