Well Head Plantation, Cambridgeshire

Little Shelford: the edge of the Clay Pits

Uploader's Comments

The sign marks the boundary of the nature reserve at the former clay pits (for more about them, see [[[4401980]]]). The peace of this tranquil-looking spot is broken by the sound of unbroken traffic on the M11, which is beyond the distant trees of Well Head Plantation.
