Although not indicated at a scale of 1:50 000, OS Explorer 200 shows a pool in the morass south of the vaguely named Bryn Rhudd. Attempting to discover that pool this area of bog was located which may or may not show the feature - at least the position, verified by GPS does correspond. Distantly the high ground of south Wales is on the horizon.
