Famed for its splendid 100-ft (30 m) tower, the church built from blue lias and Ham stone is unsurprisingly Grade-I listed (ref. 1056633): https://www.britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101056633-church-of-the-blessed-virgin-mary-huish-episcopi#.WhCjeyZLGAg . It also featured on a 1972 postage stamp in the 'village churches' commemorative set.
