The midday van train from Penzance climbs away from Par up the valley towards the tunnel at Treverran.From the vantage point on the hill you can look right down the valley. Unfortunately the view today is not so good as many trees and bushes now obscure the railway. This view would be better on a clear spring morning rather than a hot summer's afternoon.
