A strong south westerly wind blowing clouds of chaff from this combine which was cutting rapeseed at Many Thorns. Many Thorns farmhouse is no more than an overgrown ruin, but one wonders how long it had been in existence as it is not shown at all on 19thC OS 6" maps.
