Sailing barges in Whitstable Bay and the mouth of the Swale, seen from Shellness during the Kentish Sail Association's Swale Barge Match. Photo taken at about 3.25pm, a little short of three and a half hours into the race. Nearest the camera, entering the Swale, is Edme, the eventual overall winner - though at this stage both Niagara and Edith May were still very much in contention. The four more distant vessels are still tacking their way across Whitstable Bay.
