Declining salmon stocks north of Aberdeen forced the abandonment of the salmon bothy on the edge of Forvie's Nature Reserve. The bothy is now roofless, and will probably succumb to the same fate as Forvie Village; buried and forgotten beneath the ever shifting sands.
