The Cut, Ryedale

Old Corn Mill, Stamford Bridge

Uploader's Comments

I went here many years ago when this was a restaurant, but it appears to have been given a new lease of life as apartments. A plaque commemorating the Battle of Stamford Bridge in 1066 stands close by, where King Harold defeated his brother Tostig and the Norwegian army of Harald Hardarda.
