Round-leaved Sundew

Uploader's Comments

An insectivorous plant of wet acid peaty places [Drosera rotundifolia]. Sundews supplement their nutrition by digesting insects that get caught by the sticky tips of the fringes at the edge of their leaves. On the Red Moss of Balerno nature reserve.
