The track, once tarred but most of the metalling has been washed away now, serves the tunnels under Beinn a' Chochuill (background) and the Larig Noe which carry water to top up the Cruachan pumped storage reservoir. The track is the usual way in to Beinn a' Chochuill and Beinn Eunaich.
