Another rash of thunderstorms and heavy rain means the stop start 2012 harvest is very much stopped. The machine behind the tractor is a chaser bin that collects the harvested grain and transfers it to trailers by way of an auger. The reason is trailer tyres are not best suited to wet fields and will make ruts, the chaser bin is equipped with larger flotation tyres and causes less compaction.
