Just as the track from Waveney Grange Farm enters the woodland it forks. The left fork continues on roughly the same level and is the course of the Angles Way. The right fork drops down a slope through the woods towards Somerleyton Marshes. As can be seen it is this latter fork that sees more vehicular traffic.
