Slatrach Bay is sheltered from the prevailing southwesterly weather by Rubha na Lice, whilst Eilean nan Gamhna offers a bit of protection from northeasterlies (for which we were very grateful on a much rougher day on a previous trip returning to Oban up this coast against a force five).
