A long established garden centre in Shottery, Stratford on Avon, is closing down as part of a proposed major housing development in the area. Dudfields garden centre, based on the former walled garden of the long demolished Shottery Hall, will be swallowed up along with much of the green fields surrounding the area if the plans are approved.
