Taken from Saxa Vord, this short burn has cut a gash in the flanks of Hermaness Hill. On the left can be seen the yellow line of a feely dyke (turf wall) which runs across the headland and cuts off Hermaness Hill, presumably as some means of stock control in Neolithic times.
