A rubbish picture taken near Sparsholt, 200yrds west from the lane leading to Hill Barn. I'd set off from Overton Down that morning and this picture, 25 miles later, summed up a memorable day of walking. The sun was about to set. It was 9.30pm. I'd arrived at 8.30pm and spent an hour taking in the views; the sounds and the solitude. I turned in, moments later.
