A child's plastic rocking horse lies washed up on the shore of Loch na Faolinn. I wonder how long it has been at sea, and how far it has sailed? Beyond, the low green lump is Roag Island - attached to where the photographer is standing by a rocky causeway, only submerged at the highest tides. To the right, across the mouth of the loch, the headland is Meall Greepa. The flat-topped hill in the distance is Beinn na Boineid, with summit in [[NG2339]].
