Sgeir Malios, Argyll and Bute

Cul Sgeirean

A group of skerries off the mouth of Loch Don, where we were looking for a lunch spot just before low tide, waiting for the tide to turn to help us on our sea kayak journey back to Lismore (where we had left our [[[2187810]]]). Several had seals which we didn't want to disturb and most were just bare rock, very rounded (having formed as roches moutonnees under the Loch Linnhe glacier). This one had a grassy top, so must remain above the waves at high tide, but clearly also had nesting oystercatchers, so we carried on a little further south before stopping.
