The site of Rotherwas House which was built in 1732, on the site of an earlier timber-framed house. The house was attributed to James Gibbs and had been the home of the Bodenham family from 1483 until 1912 when it was sold. After it was sold much of it was stripped, with panelling going to America, the house was demolished in 1926. Rotherwas Chapel survives and is in the care of English Heritage. The chapel is out of picture to the right.
