Carved stone post by the A57, in parish of HOPE WOODLANDS (HIGH PEAK District), W of Wood Cottage in Woodlands Valley, on the verge in front of wire fence, on South side of road. Snake Pass block Erected by the Sheffield & Glossop turnpike trust in the 19th century.
