Low sun & a recent snow shower highlighted the beautiful 18thC sandstone bridge over the River Wiske. Built in the mid-18thC as part of the improvements to the Darlington to Boro'bridge Turnpike. The bridge is Grade II Listed and is over a quarter a mile in length, including a causeway with blocked up arches.
