Race Yate, County Durham

Fence line rising towards Race Yate

Uploader's Comments

Race Yate is a curiously named feature, apparently just a location on a shallow ridge between Baldersdale and the valley of Deepdale Beck; the Pennine Way crosses the ridge there. A fence extends along both sides of the ridge, the one seen in the image being to the west of Race Yate; the ground is atrociously wet!
