Port nan Crullach was a perfect lunch stop at the end of my crossing from Kerrera the previous day, and seemed a good spot for a camp at the end of the second day of my trip to Loch Buie ([[[1750948]]]). The shore showed plenty of evidence of otter activity, with emptied crab shells well above the tide line. Two otters had been curled up asleep together on one of the skerries just as I floated in. It also proved to be a good viewpoint for a pod of dolphins passing by down the Firth of Lorn.
