Overstone Park is a 119 room mansion built 1860-6. It was converted to a girls' school c.1929, and sold to the New Testament Church of God in 1980. There was a disastrous fire in 2001 and much of the house is now ruined and derelict. There is also an Abbeyfield care home in the grounds.
