The Ty Capel is the home of the chapel caretaker and the vestry is the Sunday Schoolroom. The gable end of this Calvinistic Methodist chapel can be seen behind the vestry. The 1881 census notes that the Ty Capel was already up and was occupied by Laura Williams a 59 y.o. widow who was also a dressmaker. The enumerator also notes:
