Peat Moor, North Yorkshire

Sheepfold with corrugated metal building

Uploader's Comments

The sheepfold lies in remote country on the north side of Arkle Beck close to its confluence with Mud Beck. Mud Beck is in the groove beyond the fold and its water flow is cloudy, unlike the 'clear mountain streams' that upland waters usually are. Cleasby Hill rises beyond.
