Parker's Coppice, Gloucestershire

Under the old railway [North -2]

Uploader's Comments

The Diamond Way continues to ascend towards Notgrove. Here the bridleway passes under the dismantled Banbury and Cheltenham Direct Railway. The line was opened in stages between 1862 and 1881 and closed to passengers in 1962 and to goods in 1964. This view is looking north and is, unsurprisingly, somewhat leafier than the image taken in November 2009.
