The south end of this recent section of the Amman Valley cycleway is protected from motor vehicle access by the locked gate and the tight squeeze posts. A few yards further south this path joins the lane to Pantyffynnon RFC playing field. This path seems to have been built on disused railway sidings by creating a sturdy new railway fence further away from the original boundary with the fields.
