Old Kea, Cornwall

The tower of Old Kea Church

Uploader's Comments

The church existed in the 13C, and the tower was probably added in the 15C. By 1800 the church building had become unsafe, and a new church was built in a more convenient location within the parish. The church was dismantled in 1802, but the tower was left standing. See http://www.stkea.org.uk/oldkeahistory.htm for more information.
