This bridge can be seen being renovated [[1252463]] and when recently completed [[1345306]]. Since then, a plaque has been placed on the bridge commemorating its re-opening by Camilla Duchess of Cornwall, who has local connexions. On a wet New Year's Day some walkers are sharing mince pies and mulled wine underneath, so the double width is useful.
