Newshield Moss, Cumbria

Hill slope above Blagill

Uploader's Comments

The slope above the small settlement of Blagill, rising to the moorland of Newshield Moss, has been greatly disturbed by mining activities; moles have been active too! In the middle distance there's a large area of tubed saplings where tree regeneration is being promoted.
