Situated in Sun Hill on the B3401 road, this TE serves Calbourne plus Newbridge, Newtown and Shalfleet nearby. The white building would date from the GPO era, whilst the wooden building, which was added later, can just be seen behind it. The BT warning notice and a black letter box can be seen on each side of the wooden door of the front building, although it is unlikely BT will get much, if any post delivered to it. Presumably, the chimney on the side of the white building is there to prevent the equipment inside it from overheating. This TE has (01983) 531xxx numbers and its postcode is PO30 4JA.
