Since Matthew's picture of 'serious signage' taken in 2008 the post here has lost the multiple waymarks but has gained four new arms. This junction is on the Ripon Rowel Way and is at the upper limits of farmed land. Despite a dry autumn there is already plenty of mud at this location, the land to the west of Ripon being of heavy clay and not well drained.
