Nearly overgrown is this well beside the road outside Cromarty with the plaque "Coronation 1911". A water feature, perhaps a drinking trough for horses or for residents of Cromarty walking their dogs. The First Edition of the OS in 1880 marked this spot as "Samuel's Well (site of)"
